Job: Temporary Science Education Specialist

The Science Education Specialist for the School Science & Technology program will serve as a member of the curriculum team within the program. This position will have responsibilities that include one or more of the following: science curriculum development including research, writing, and document production; classroom observations and campus support of elementary science teacher project participants; and elementary science teacher professional development.

This is a temporary, part-time position that is funded for one year with continuation contingent upon available funds.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Experience may not be substituted for the education requirement.
Experience Required 2 years of elementary education, science education, or science experience.
May substitute additional related education, above and beyond what is required, on an equivalent year for year basis in lieu of the experience requirement.

License/Certification Required
Other Skills Required -Working knowledge of computers and common software applications.
