Certified Medication Aide (CRH)

Location: 3550 W. Dallas

Schedule: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (varies)

Responsibilities: (includes interrelationships & workers supervised)

This position is responsible for the administration of medications under supervision of nursing staff. Supervises residents who are trained to self-medicate. Assists, with health checks, vital signs, patient weights, and other activities of daily living. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administration and charting of medication. Must be adaptable to change in assignments both in areas of priority setting and role change. May encounter stressful situations and a busy, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Two years experience as CMA in a clinical setting. Ability to understand CMA role in team concept of patient care. Certification as Medical Aide by the TX Department of Health. CPR & SAMA upon hire and annually thereafter.
