Client in the Southeast area is looking for an HR Assistant to support all areas of HR including recruiting ,benefits, personnel records and training. Client prefers that the applicants are bilingual in Spanish. Need at least three years of recent HR experience. Direct hire. To 35K DOE. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and be drug free. There are the job duties:

Manages training administration by working with managers and directors to ensure training requirementsand training records are current.
Manages training database by creating ,training requirements for new positions, audits existing positions to ensure training requirements are correct. Generates training records and reports for Director of Quality for
BSI and FDA audits or as requested:
Ensures hiring managers have training requirements for current job openings or any other positions within their department
Prepares reports in conformance with legislative requirements and organization needs, such as OSHA log, HR Matrix, etc.
Administers tracks and follows-up on FMLA leaves of absence and ensures legal compliance,
_Manages Workers Compensation case.
Responds to employee verifications.
Dissemination of policies and procedures through employee communication. ,
Advises managers, supervisors and employees on personnel procedures and precedents with referrals toappropriate resources.
Assist Human Resources Manager with providing information to employees regarding, training status, and other human resources related topics. .-
Assist employees with company benefit prorams including medical, dental, FSA and life and disability.
Supports the recruiting process and assist in the preparation of job descriptions.
Manages Company Corporate Policies and Procedures by assigning and tracking Policy Numbers
Works with Human Resources Manager in investigating accident claims, notifying appropriate parties, and providing workers compensation forms to employees and others for appropriate filing
Researches and responds to special request from HR Manager.:.:
Provide support for the President as needed.
Works with HR Manager to updates HRIS system of, .all information including new terminations, address changes and direct deposit information.
Coordinates employee relations activities including parties, luncheons, employee communications, and other related activities.
Champions yearly Christmas Party Committee.
Orders yearly employee service awards.
Provides back-up for Security as needed, including telephone coverage
Professional - Must maintain professional business appearance and demeanor at all times,
Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by Human Resources Manager
