Texas First Bank is seeking skilled and motivated Full-Time Head Teller candidates for our location in League City, Texas. Under the direction of the Banking Center Manager, the Head Teller supervises all aspects of the teller function. This will include the effective management of the day-to-day teller operations, scheduling, and customer service. This person will also be responsible for performing teller duties during peak customer hours.
The Head Teller is the most senior on-site teller, and will have higher authority levels for check cashing and approving other teller’s work. This person assures that a high level of customer service is provided to customers utilizing teller services. Additionally, the Head Teller will make certain that tellers are trained and are able to provide customers with information about other bank products and services. In addition, the Head Teller is responsible for selling additional products to customers and prospects and supporting the overall sales efforts of the bank.

Skills / Requirements
* Candidates with at least 3-5 years of experience as a teller or equivalent cash handling and/or customer service position are highly preferred. *Prior experience in a leadership-based role in a financial services environment is highly preferred * This is a full time position (approximately 40 hours in a regular week). A successful candidate must therefore have flexible daily availability during operating hours on weekdays as well as availability to rotate on Saturdays, as needed. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to handle transactions accurately and quickly * Strong math aptitude and attention to detail * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Computer experience necessary * Flexibility to work additional hours when requested * Required to lift heavy coin and sit/stand for long periods of time * Candidates selected for further evaluation will be asked to provide authorization to perform a credit and background check.
