PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
ACCEPTS MERCHANDISE DONATIONS ACCORDING TO PROCEDURES IN MANUAL
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain excellent customer relations and able to work weekends.
2. Must be able to maintain a cheerful and pleasant disposition when
serving customers/donors.
3. Loads and sorts materials in trailer/store front according to instructions.
4. Maintain records of donations and issues completed donation receipts to donors.
5. Provides daily reports of trailer/site front status to dispatch.
6. Adhere to all Goodwill policies, procedures and regulations.
7. Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
8. Maintain good housekeeping.
9. Conduct self in safe manner; report all work injuries immediately.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Good customer relations skills.
3. Must have transportation.
4. Ability to complete reports and communicates with staff and public.
5. Ability and willingness to accept transfer to other locations.
6. Punctual and dependable attendance.
7. Free from alcohol and drugs.

occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push and pull. The employee
must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
(common items include, but are not limited to bags of clothes/miscellaneous items, televisions,
computers, sofas, kitchen appliances, bicycles and bedroom sets).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather
conditions and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally
exposed wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually
moderate.
Important Notes
EQUIPMENT, MACHINES, AND TOOLS USED:
- Propane gas heater (winter), telephone, light computers (store front), lock and keys, totes,
push carts.
