The Goal of The Bush Cares Project is to assist every Veteran transitioning from Military to Civilian Life successfully. The Project is an emerging 501(c)(3) organization that desires to increase awareness of Veterans' causes and concerns.
The Haven
Our Mission is to build a "Haven" in every major city in the United States. Our first site will be in Houston, Texas. Our intentions is to build each apartment home with little to no financing in order to ensure every Veteran has an affordable place to stay. Your Donations will guarantee this Mission is Accomplished.
Vocational Education
Our Mission is to clinch the success of every Veteran entering the Civilian workforce. Success happens at the point when preparation meets opportunity. In order to accomplish our Mission will generate Opportunity and at the same offer Vocational Preparedness Training such as Weekly Resume Writing Workshops, Job Interview Training, and Dress for Success Workshops
Job Placement
Our Mission is match up each Veteran with their Dream Job. We look forward to Corporate Citizens across the Country to Contact Us with Job Opportunities for our Veterans. In addition, we will offer Quarterly Job Fairs, Job Referrals, Employment Internet site, Headhunters and Job Placement Counselors on staff
Medical and Dental Clinics
Our Mission is to host Medical and Dental Clinics. We want the meet the basic Medical and Dental needs of our Veterans. We look forward working with network of Medical Professional volunteers to guarantee the accomplishment of this vital Mission.
Mental Health Counselors
Our Mission is to address the Mental Health of our Veterans. Every Life Changing event is accompanied by stress. We will have Mental Health Counselors on staff to teach stress coping techniques. We will also reach out to Psychiatrists to offer their services on a “On call” basis that specialize in the field of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Transportation
Our Mission is to provide a shuttle to the VA Hospital and other medical institutions that will run daily. In addition, each Haven will provide hourly transportation to the local academic institutions. We will provide fare for local public transportation.
