League City has a diverse and rich heritage evidenced by our historic commercial district.

League City, Texas, on the Texas Gulf Coast, is twenty-five miles north of Galveston Island and twenty miles south of Houston, the 4th largest metropolitan city in America. League City is located on the South shore of 1,750 acre Clear Lake and directly on Interstate Highway 45.

The area is home to the third largest concentration of pleasure boats in the United States.
