Since 1945, Goodwill Industries of Houston has provided employment services to more than 75,000 people and employed more than 35,000. We currently have more than 50 attended donation centers, 20 stores, two job connection centers and more than 600 employees.
 Growth
Since 2007, we’ve opened eight new stores, nine new attended donation centers, and have created 275 new jobs. With caution and a lot of research, we’ve been able to expand during a tough economy. A strong donation base and an ever-increasing regional population continue to create the market for more stores and the need for more job opportunities and employment services. All of this growth means more jobs and training for people in Houston and the greater surrounding areas. Each time a new Goodwill Select store opens, we create 25 new jobs in our community.
