There is no doubt that a Powerful Resume is needed to help your accomplishments stand apart from the crowd. But how do you create such a resume?

Here are 5 common mistakes people make when writing a resume:

A lack of results

Procrastination

Arrogance

Lacking personality

Inconsistent structure

All resume points should be in bullet form and should be in the C.A.R. or S.T.A.R. formats.

A Powerful Resume is just one piece to the puzzle and it works best after you have effectively networked your way into the organization you are targeting. I will touch on Effective Networking in my next blog.
