Blog Post: “What’s Prosperity all about?”

Recently a friend emailed me and asked “What’s Prosperity all about?” Most people name their company something that relates to the service they provide such as A1 Cleaners, Mark’s Lawn Service, All Day Daycare, etc. I decided to name my company more toward what I offer and what the client will accomplish, Prosperity. It's about positive thinking, being responsible, one size does not fit all, yes I can, taking calculated risks, trusting yourself, achieving goals, encouraging, be all you can be and more. I have a business and that's the name and attitude, Prosperity. I'm geared toward small businesses and new startups offering them a short term service of bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, software setup, etc. Short term? Yes, I said short term. Today not all businesses need my service for ever. Some businesses just need a few hours, a day, whatever it takes to get over the hump and move on. That’s what I find exciting; partnering with the owner to reach their goal. And I’m practicing what I preach in my blogs when I say I have been blessed with a full time job and I work for myself after hours and weekends. It’s hard and it’s time consuming but the satisfaction I see in the owner’s eye is priceless.
