Blog Post: Hurricane Survivors Forum Offers Healing & Celebrates Life

It's hard to believe, but it's been three years since Hurricane's Katrina and Rita brought massive devastation to the Gulf Coast Region. For so many, life has never been the same. Homes destroyed, neighborhoods wiped off the map, lives lost.... August 2005 brought the largest natural disaster in U.S. history

Jobing.com has teamed up with Career & Recovery Resources to acknowledge the three year anniversary of the storms that changed so many lives. The event, A Katrina Survivor's Forum, will be held each Thursday evening in the month of August at 2304 Caroline in Midtown. Events last from 5:30PM - 7:00PM each night & the highlights are as follows:

-August 14th Job Seeking & Retention *

-August 21st Financial Planning

-August 28th A Celebration of Life Candlelight Vigil
