Blog Post: Leave a Great Impression

So, your resume landed you the interview. The interview is going well and is coming to a close. How you wrap up the interview and the impression you leave the employer might mean the difference between being landing the job and finding work elsewhere
Here are some great ways to end the interview and questions to ask: 1. Ask the interviewer where they are in the hiring process for that particular position; ask if they have a timeline to fill the spot. 2. Ask about their training program and how they orient new employees to the company. 3. Ask for their contact information and the best way to contact them. Get a business card! 4. Be clear that you are available for any further questions they may have. 5. Thank them for their time 6. Give a one-sentence summary of "why you", recapping your strengths and why you are a good fit. 7. Make sure the interviewer knows that you are still very interested in the opportunity and that you look forward to hearing back from them. 8. Smile, it looks good on you. :)
