Blog Post: Wanted: Company Cheerleader
posted Wednesday, June 4, 2008 10:41 AM
Job Description: Ability to represent the company in a positive image straight from the heart and participate in its growth. This requires endless energy, ability to dream and suggest new ideas, accept being turned down and not take it personally, network with other employees and companies, think “if this was my company what would I do”, keep the company honest and obey all rules and laws, ability to embrace things you’ve never done before and conquer them, accept the fact that things happen and when one door closes another door opens. Pom-poms furnished.
There’s a cheerleader in every body and it’s only a matter of time until the cheerleader comes out. Some people aren’t motivated by their job or maybe they haven’t been given the opportunity. If you have a high energy, free thinking employee filing paper.....that ain’t gonna work. Some people out grow their job and need to move up or move on so their cheerleader can come out. Some people never leave their job and have adapted because they have opened doors after hours that their cheerleader can escape to. Hobbies, side businesses, continuing education, family, church, friends and the list goes on. Don’t hold back your cheerleader. Pick up those pom-poms and shine!
